Tridium Niagara & JACE Service in Phoenix, AZ
The framework inside the framework — Niagara runs beneath a dozen brand names on Phoenix building automation systems.
Tridium's Niagara Framework is the software platform underneath a large share of the building automation systems in Phoenix, whether the badge on the system says Honeywell WEBs, Distech EC-Net, KMC, Vykon or one of many other Niagara licensees. A JACE — the supervisory controller that runs Niagara at the building — integrates equipment across BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus and other protocols and presents it through a web interface. Bleuwave services Niagara systems as an independent contractor with Niagara-credentialed technicians, without dealer affiliation or factory authorization.
Niagara's openness is its value: a system built on it can be serviced by any contractor with the credentials and tools, regardless of which vendor's badge is on the JACE. Its challenge is versioning. Niagara AX is out of support, N4 releases advance steadily, and a JACE running an old version is both a security exposure and an obstacle to integrating new equipment.

Niagara in Phoenix Buildings
JACE controllers of several generations — older AX-era hardware and current N4 hardware — running Niagara AX or N4 with drivers for BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus and proprietary protocols; Niagara supervisors on servers coordinating multiple JACEs across campuses and portfolios; and the many vendor-branded implementations, from Honeywell WEBs to Distech EC-Net to Vykon, that share the framework.

Service, Upgrades and Integration
Aging JACEs fail or fall out of version support; AX systems need migration to N4; drivers and integrations break as equipment is replaced; databases accumulate overrides; sequences drift; and licenses and credentials are lost with staff turnover. We troubleshoot Niagara systems at the JACE, driver and station levels; replace failed JACEs; migrate AX to N4; upgrade N4 versions; integrate new mechanical equipment through the appropriate drivers; recover access to abandoned stations; and take over Niagara systems regardless of the original vendor badge, through the building automation practice.
Straight Answers
Questions About Tridium Equipment
Our system says Vykon on the JACE. Who can service it?
Any contractor with Niagara credentials — Vykon is Tridium's own brand of Niagara products. We service Vykon and other Niagara-based systems as an independent contractor.
Our JACE runs Niagara AX. Is that a problem?
Yes. AX is out of support, which is a security and integration concern. We migrate AX stations to N4 on current JACE hardware, preserving the building's points and sequences.
Is Bleuwave a Tridium or Honeywell partner?
No. We service Niagara systems as an independent contractor with Niagara-credentialed technicians, without dealer affiliation or factory authorization.
