Andover Controls Continuum & Infinity Service in Phoenix, AZ
A Massachusetts company that built excellent controls, was bought twice, and left Phoenix buildings running software that is now at the end of the road.
Andover Controls built building automation in Massachusetts from the 1980s — the Infinity platform, then Continuum, which integrated HVAC control with access control and security in one system — until TAC acquired the company in 2004 and Schneider Electric absorbed TAC. Continuum lived on under Schneider's name for years and has now been succeeded by EcoStruxure Building Operation. Phoenix office towers, hospitals, government buildings and campuses installed in the 1990s and 2000s still run Continuum and, in a few cases, Infinity. Bleuwave services legacy Andover systems as an independent contractor, without dealer affiliation or factory authorization.
A Continuum system in 2026 is a system on borrowed time. Controllers are failing and replacements are scarce; the workstation software depends on operating systems that are out of support; the programming language is understood by a shrinking number of technicians. The right service relationship keeps the building running while a migration is planned — not a panic replacement when the CyberStation finally will not boot.

Continuum and Infinity in Phoenix
