Desert Wear Patterns
On NC towers, hot-water basin nozzles clog with scale and debris, uneven distribution starves sections of fill, and sun-exposed fill degrades under UV. On counterflow units, spray nozzles scale and fill fouls internally. Geareducer drives need oil service and eventually rebuild; motors, shafts and couplings wear through six-month seasons.
