LG MULTI V VRF Service in Phoenix, AZ
A VRF platform that won a large share of Phoenix multifamily, hospitality and office projects. Serviced as a system, not a set of boxes.
LG's MULTI V has become one of the most widely installed VRF platforms in the Phoenix market, particularly in multifamily developments, hotels, medical offices and mid-size office buildings built in the past decade. Multi F multi-zone ductless systems and single-zone mini-splits serve smaller commercial spaces. Bleuwave services LG equipment as an independent contractor — no dealer affiliation, no factory authorization claimed — with technicians who treat a VRF system as the single, interdependent machine it is.
The Phoenix installed base of LG VRF is young enough that much of it is only now coming out of the period when the installing contractor handled every call. Owners looking for a second option, or for a contractor who will read the system data rather than swap parts, are the reason this page exists.

LG Equipment We Encounter
Families and designations that appear on nameplates in the Phoenix market. Capacities, refrigerants and configurations vary by model and year; we verify from the nameplate on site rather than from a catalog.
| Family | Category | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| MULTI V | VRF / VRV | LG's VRF platform in heat-pump and heat-recovery configurations, including the compact MULTI V S for smaller buildings. |
| Multi F | Split Systems | Multi-zone ductless systems for light commercial and residential applications. |
| LG ductless single-zone | Split Systems | Wall-mount and ducted single-zone mini-splits for small commercial spaces. |
MULTI V and Multi F
MULTI V outdoor units serve heat-pump and heat-recovery systems with a wide range of indoor units — cassettes, ducted units, wall-mounts, consoles — and heat-recovery units that let zones heat and cool simultaneously. MULTI V S covers smaller buildings with a compact outdoor unit. LG's controls range from wired zone controllers to centralized building controllers and BACnet gateways. Multi F systems connect several indoor units to one outdoor unit without heat recovery, for tenant spaces and small buildings.

Phoenix Service Patterns
Inverter compressors, fan motors and drive electronics in outdoor units bear the summer's heat, and board and drive faults join conventional mechanical wear as service categories. Refrigerant leaks across long piping runs degrade whole systems quietly. Heat-recovery unit valves stick. Indoor-unit drain pumps and condensate lines fail and stain ceilings — in a multifamily building, the tenant below notices first. Configuration and addressing errors accumulate in controls when units are added or replaced without the system being reconfigured.
Diagnostics, Repair and Replacement
We start at the controller and the system's operating data, verify with instruments, and locate refrigerant leaks methodically before recharging by calculated piping volume. Repairs cover outdoor-unit compressors, fans, boards and drives, heat-recovery unit components, indoor-unit fans, coils, valves and drains, and controls. Outdoor-unit and whole-system replacement is engineered from current zoning and surveyed piping, and we integrate LG controls with building automation through the building automation practice.

Questions About LG Equipment
Is Bleuwave an LG authorized dealer?
No. We service LG VRF and ductless equipment as an independent contractor, using genuine and equivalent parts and the manufacturer's diagnostic procedures, without dealer affiliation or factory authorization.
Our LG system was installed by another contractor. Can you take over service?
Yes. We survey the system, retrieve its configuration and operating history, and establish a baseline. Many of our VRF clients came to us for a second opinion after the installing contractor's warranty period.
Do you service LG VRF in apartment communities?
Yes — multifamily VRF is a large part of the Phoenix installed base, and we service it as a fleet with per-building reporting.
