Schneider Electric APC InRow, Uniflair & EcoStruxure Service in Phoenix, AZ
The company that owns the rack, the power and the cooling — and, through a chain of acquisitions, half the legacy building automation in the Valley.
Schneider Electric reaches Phoenix commercial buildings and data centers on two fronts. On the data center floor, APC InRow cooling units sit between server racks and Uniflair precision units and chillers serve larger halls — a portfolio built from APC's infrastructure business and the Uniflair acquisition. In the building automation room, EcoStruxure Building Operation is Schneider's current platform, and beneath it lie the legacy systems Schneider absorbed: TAC Vista, Andover Continuum and Infinity, and the Invensys building-controls lineage that traces to Barber-Colman and Robertshaw. Bleuwave services Schneider Electric cooling and controls equipment as an independent contractor, without dealer affiliation or factory authorization.
For a data center, the cooling side is a precision discipline conducted around redundancy. For a commercial building, the controls side is often a question of which generation of Schneider platform is running the building and whether anyone still understands it.
Product Families
Schneider Electric Equipment We Encounter
Families and designations that appear on nameplates in the Phoenix market. Capacities, refrigerants and configurations vary by model and year; we verify from the nameplate on site rather than from a catalog.
| Family | Category | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| APC InRow | Precision Cooling | In-row cooling units for rack-level heat rejection, in DX and chilled-water configurations. |
| Uniflair | Precision Cooling | Floor-mounted precision cooling units and data center chillers from Schneider's Uniflair acquisition. |
| EcoStruxure Building Operation | Controls & BAS | Schneider's current building automation platform, successor to TAC Vista and StruxureWare. |
| TAC, Andover Continuum, Invensys (legacy)Legacy | Controls & BAS | Legacy building automation platforms absorbed into Schneider Electric — see the Andover Controls page for Continuum and Infinity. |
| Uniflair chillers | Chillers | Air-cooled chillers with free-cooling options for data center chilled-water systems. |
APC InRow and Uniflair Cooling
InRow units — DX with remote condensers, or chilled-water — cool at the rack row and integrate with APC's containment and monitoring. Uniflair floor-mounted units serve data halls in DX and chilled-water configurations; Uniflair chillers with free-cooling coils serve chilled-water facilities. Schneider's data center infrastructure management software ties cooling, power and monitoring together. In Phoenix the remote condensers and air-cooled chillers on the roof are where the summer stress concentrates.

EcoStruxure and the Legacy Platforms
EcoStruxure Building Operation runs newer Phoenix buildings and has been migrated into some older ones; TAC Vista, Andover Continuum and Infinity, and Invensys-era controllers run the rest. Migration from legacy platforms to EcoStruxure — or to a third-party open platform — is a substantial category of Phoenix controls work, and it is best done by people who can read the legacy system's programming before replacing it. We service and integrate Schneider controls, recover buildings whose legacy servers have been abandoned, and plan migrations through our building automation practice.
Service, Repair and Replacement
Cooling equipment is serviced one unit at a time with room capacity verified, covering condensers, refrigeration, electrical, fans, filters, drains and controls; repairs use genuine and equivalent parts; emergency response is prioritized; replacement maintains capacity throughout. Controls work spans troubleshooting, controller and sensor replacement, programming, integration with mechanical equipment and platform migration.

Questions About Schneider Electric Equipment
Our building runs TAC Vista. Is it still supported?
Schneider has moved on to EcoStruxure Building Operation, and TAC Vista support is winding down. We service existing Vista installations and plan migrations to EcoStruxure or an open platform, preserving the building's sequences and points.
Do you service APC InRow units?
Yes — DX and chilled-water InRow units, their remote condensers and their integration with containment and monitoring, on a schedule coordinated with room redundancy.
Is Bleuwave a Schneider Electric partner?
No. We service Schneider Electric cooling and controls equipment as an independent contractor without dealer affiliation or factory authorization.
